Apollo Rising Entrepreneurs

Twenty students in Class 17 (rising college first-years) participated in a 5-week entrepreneurship project hosted by Apollo Global Management. The project prompt asked the students (broken into 5 teams and paired with four volunteer Apollo coaches) to develop a pivot idea for an existing Apollo portfolio business in response to COVID-19. With support from their team volunteers, the students devised light business plans, which focused on developing a new idea to bring business value and social impact on their assigned company. Five judges, all A-Level Apollo executives, judged the presentations and selected the winning team.

They were immensely impressed with the students, including Apollo CEO, Scott Kleinman who said, “Guys, that was really amazing. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the level of knowledge the students had. Thank you for including me in it. Look forward to next year.”
