At TEAK, I was able to come to a space during the school year and the summer to explore the world in a light that I had never been exposed to before. It was scary. I was told to perform Shakespeare and write essays and think about the impact that I wanted to have in this world. I had never had to think too strongly about these topics before, but I soon learned my own strength. TEAK helped guide me and told that I deserved the world, so I began to seek out all that this world had to offer me.
